The Atlanta Regional Commission has released a list of the top 10 places around Atlanta last month where traffic was routinely bad. Each “impact factor,” is determined by the average duration,

length, and frequency ofbottlenecks–disruptions in traffic due to factors such as construction or faulty traffic lights–within the area.

Here’s the countdown:

10. I-85/75 North at I-20/Exit 247, Downtown Atlanta

This exit is routinely busy as drivers attempt to exit off to I-20 or Turner Field.Average duration of bottleneck: 3 hours, 14 minutesAverage length of bottleneck: 2.6 milesOccurrences: 95 last month.

9. GA 400 N at I-285, North Fulton

Right before Spaghetti junction, this exit is packed during rush hour.

Average duration of bottleneck: 2 hours, 19 minutes
Average length of bottleneck: 6.6 miles

The actual Spaghetti junction.
