Collision closes two lanes on southbound I-75 near Marietta

COBB COUNTY, GA – Authorities were called to a crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 75 near northeast Marietta, according to Triple Team Traffic.

The collision took place on the southbound lanes approaching Exit 265 to the North 120 Loop. It was first reported shortly before 7:25 a.m.

While the cause and nature of the accident has not been publicly shared, motorists were warned that the two left lanes were blocked and advised to take the express lanes or Highway 41/Cobb Parkway.

A photo taken at the scene shows at least two police vehicles and another emergency vehicle responding, but officials have not confirmed any major injuries or hospitalizations.

While traffic continued to experience delays out of Kennesaw, by 7:47 a.m. the scene had been moved to the right shoulder and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
