Crews Clean up Crash Debris on SR 96 in Bonaire

BONAIRE, GA – Georgia Department of Transportation officials are in the process of cleaning up the last of the debris leftover from a Friday afternoon crash at SR 96 East. 

HOUSTON CO.- Right lane blocked on SR 96 EB at Old Hawkinsville Rd. (mm 8.94) due to a crash. Use caution in the area. #HoustonCounty

This scene clearance procedure can be seen just along Old Hawkinsville Road, located at mile marker 8.94. The area should reopen shortly. As crews work to clear up the area, drivers approaching the junction are asked to proceed with caution. 

At this time, authorities have made no mention of the sorts of people and vehicles involved, reported any injuries or hospitalizations, or indicated the contributing factors behind this crash.
