On October 4, 2014, the team at Kaufman Law, P.C. co-sponsored the Noah’s Ark “Bark at the Ark” event. The firm also participated as a vendor at this event by distributing valuable information about how Georgians can prevent dog bite attacks. Learning to read a dog’s body language by acting as a “Dog Detective” can help keep the public safe and help avoid dog bite injuries.
All About the Noah’s Ark “Bark at the Ark” Event
As part of the event, the Kaufman Law, P.C. team handed out informational packets along with candy and prizes for the crowd’s two-legged and four-legged friends, as well as dishwasher magnets and pens for the pet owners. To store all of the great information, prizes, and favors handed out at the event, the team also gave out the new Kaufman Law, P.C. reusable grocery bags. The team also had some valuable assistance at their booth from pups Yogi Fuller-Miller, Lilly Miller, and Jack Holmes, each of who assisted their “mommies” by greeting visitors to the Kaufman Law booth. The animal friends also provided hilarious comic relief and slobbery puppy kisses, keeping spirits high throughout the day.
What Exactly Is a “Dog Detective?”
A “Dog Detective” is someone who works to read a dog’s body language in order preemptively determine whether or not the animal might be a threat. By learning the dog’s signals, an individual can better judge how to react when encountering an unfamiliar animal. Ideally, this will help lead to fewer dog bite attacks.
The team at Kaufman Law, P.C. was honored to be both a sponsor and a participant at this rewarding event. The goal was to help educate the community about dog bites while also giving back to an organization that is a true gem within the community. Noah’s Ark celebrates and values love, life, and family in all shapes and forms. Kaufman Law, P.C. looks forward to joining in at this wonderful event again next year!
