Possible Medical Episode Leads to Fatal Crash With Semi in Macon
MACON, GA โ A 42-year-old man was said to have suffered a medical episode while driving, leading him to crash into a semi-truck and claiming his life Thursday.
This collision happened around 1:15 p.m. on I-16 East, according to 13WMAZ. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the semi-motorist was able to escape injuries.ย
The Bibb County Sheriffโs Office closed the eastbound lanes for two hours before reopening them all.
