1 hospitalized following I-185 collision in Columbus
COLUMBUS, GA – Ambulance crews transported one person to a hospital after a crash on I-185 North Wednesday afternoon, WTVM reports.
Georgia Department of Transportation crews were summoned to the scene to shut down all the northbound lanes past Exit 12 to Williams Road. DOT personnel removed the affected vehicle(s) from the scene and lifted all lane closures a little after 4 p.m.
Law enforcement has not disclosed the exact cause of this wreck, the number of occupants or automobiles involved, or the severity of injuries sustained.
