1 killed, 2 seriously injured in collision on GA-21 near Rincon
EFFINGHAM COUNTY, GA – One person lost their life Monday afternoon due to a two-vehicle crash near Rincon that sent two other people to the hospital, reports WSAV 3.
The accident unfolded near the intersection with McCall Road shortly after 12:30 p.m., prompting a response from the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO).
While the events leading up to the crash remain unclear, officials confirmed that one of the drivers, 45, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two people from the other vehicle, a pickup truck, were transported to a local hospital for unspecified injuries.
An investigation is being handled by the ECSO Traffic Unit. No charges or citations have been reported at this time.
