1 killed in turning collision on Macland Rd near Powder Springs
COBB COUNTY, GA – One person lost their life early Monday due to a two-vehicle crash near northeast Powder Springs, according to WSB-TV Atlanta 2.
Cobb County officers were dispatched to the scene on Macland Road at John Petree Road at about 4:30 a.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a GMC was heading eastbound on Macland Road toward the intersection when it collided with the victim’s Toyota, which was using the intersection to cross.
First responders pronounced the driver of the Toyota deceased at the scene. No identifying details have been released at this time.
