2 Hospitalized, 1 Life Claimed After 2-Auto Wreck Near Clarksville
NEAR CLARKSVILLE, GA – Two people were sent to the hospital, and one person’s life was claimed in a two-vehicle wreck that ended with one crashing into a wooded area Tuesday.
This collision happened after 7:15 a.m. on GA 17 near the Blue Creek Road and Preacher Campbell Road, according to Now Habersham.
Habersham County Sheriff’s Office said one of the vehicles came to rest in an embankment while the other landed in a roadside ditch. Upon arrival, an ambulance transported the two injured victims to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville and declared the other occupant dead at the scene.
Georgia State Patrol launched an investigation and has not specified the victim’s age, gender, and place of residency.
