2 Men Killed in Richmond Co. Collisions
RICHMOND COUNTY, GA โ Two men died in separate collisions that happened over the weekend, WRDW reports.
The first crash took place on the 3100th block of Peach Orchard Road in Augusta on Friday. The Richmond County Sheriffโs Office said the driver operating a Jeep Cherokee had lost control of his vehicle, causing it to overturn. EMS crews took the man to Wellstar/MCG, where he died just before 10:15 a.m.
The second collision happened in the 5100th block of Henderson Road in Hephzibah before 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The driver, a 68-year-old local man, lost control of his car and crashed into a tree. He perished at the scene.
