2-Vehicle Collision in Atlanta Injures Officer, Ends in Arrest
ATLANTA, GA โ An Atlanta police officer was injured, and another driver was arrested following a two-vehicle crash in the Hammond Park area Thursday.
First responders received a call around 9 a.m. to head to the 2600th block of Metropolitan Parkway, near I-85, according to Fox 5 Atlanta. Upon arrival, EMS transported the officer to a hospital, and law enforcement detained the other driver.
The Atlanta Police Department is actively working to determine the exact cause of the crash and has not released information on any pending charges.
