4 Hospitalized After Collision Caused by DUI Driver in Hogansville
HOGANSVILLE, GA โ A 34-year-old woman was charged with DUI after causing a collision that sent four people, which included a toddler, to area hospitals Sunday.
The DUI crash happened before 1:30 p.m. on I-85 North near mile marker 24, according to CNAW2News.
The DUI crash happened after the 34-year-old woman lost control of her 2007 Lexus ES350, veered off the road, overcorrected, and crashed into a tree stump. The impact had ejected the toddler from the car and left them with serious injuries.
EMS crews transported the toddler to West Georgia Regional Hospital and the three others to Columbus for medical treatment.
Georgia State Patrol did not confirm whether the 34-year-old woman, from Decatur, was injured. They did however say that she was also charged with serious injury by vehicle.
