4 Killed, 1 Injured in Red Light Crash in LaGrange
LAGRANGE, GA – A driver of a red Nissan Altima ran a red light and struck a white GMC Sierra pickup truck, claiming the lives of four people and sending another to a hospital Sunday.
The two-vehicle collision occurred before 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Georgia 1 and Wares Cross Road, WSBTV reports. GSP said the impact caused the car to flip over several times. A passenger from one vehicle was ejected.
The four Nissan occupants, which included the driver, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
EMS crews transported the driver of the pickup to WellStar West, GA, for treatment of serious wounds.
