5 Hospitalized Following Semi, School Bus Wreck In Surrency
SURRENCY, GA – A semi-truck had collided with a school bus, leaving both drivers and three children with minor injuries Monday, WJCL said.
Around 4:30 p.m., the bus driver entered the intersection of GA 121 and DM Tillman Road and cut off the semi driver. The vehicles collided, and the bus crashed into a ditch.
Authorities were quick to arrive at the scene. EMS rushed the occupants to Appling County Hospital for treatment.
Medical personnel have released the individuals from the hospital since then.
Georgia State Patrol has not formally announced any criminal charges.
