Driver trapped after multi-vehicle, rollover crash at Muscogee County intersection
MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GA – One person had to be extricated from an overturned vehicle following a three-vehicle wreck late Monday afternoon in Columbus, reports WTVM.
The accident took place at the corner of Buena Vista Road and Dogwood Drive, causing one vehicle to flip in the nearby Burger King parking lot.
Officials have not said what led up to the rollover, but several bystanders tried to help the driver out of the overturned vehicle. Responding crews with Columbus Fire & Rescue were later able to safely remove him.
Preliminary details indicate a number of people suffered injuries, but the severity of their conditions was not immediately specified.
