At least 1 left hurt after crash on East-West Connector in Smyrna
COBB COUNTY, GA – Authorities were dispatched to an injury collision early Thursday afternoon on the East-West Connector in southeast Smyrna, according to Triple Team Traffic.
The accident happened, which happened at South Cobb Drive, had all eastbound lanes of the connector shut down by the time of Triple Team Traffic’s report at 12:23 p.m.
At this time, it’s unclear what led up to the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but footage captured at the scene shows multiple police vehicles and at least one fire engine responding. Motorists were warned of delays impacting the area.
By 1:19 p.m., nearly an hour after the initial report, crews had cleared the crash from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
