Semi hits car, sending 29-year-old man to hospital in DeKalb Co.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA – A 29-year-old man driving a car was rushed to the hospital after he was struck by a semi-truck driver, who suffered a medical emergency Friday.
This collision happened at the Memorial Drive and Rays Road intersection, according to FOX 5 Atlanta. Initially, the truck driver, affiliated with My Way Trucking LLC from Tucker, struck the car motorist and then took off.
The truck driver, a man in his 60s and owner of this company, said he pulled over near the collision site after realizing what happened and called the police.
Officers confirmed the semi-driver was cited for his involvement in this crash and for leaving the scene.
