FCSO deputies respond to collision at Forsyth County intersection

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA – A vehicle wreck was reported Friday morning on Bannister Road in Cumming, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened at the intersection with Dahlonega Highway, or State Route 9, northeast of the city. It was first reported by the FCSO at 6:47 a.m., when deputies had already arrived on the scene.

As of this writing, officials have not disclosed the circumstances of the event or the number of vehicles involved, but morning commuters were warned of delays in the area. Alternate routes were recommended.
