Man Fatally Struck by DUI Driver in Stonecrest
STONECREST, GA – A man lost his life after he was hit by an impaired driver in the vicinity of Fairington Road and Willowick Road Sunday.
The DeKalb County Police Department said they were dispatched to the scene around 11:30 p.m., Fox 5 Atlanta reported. Upon arrival, officers declared the man dead at the scene and booked the driver (who stayed at the scene) into custody.Â
The driver was charged with DUI.
