Atlanta PD Officer Hospitalized After Wreck in South Atlanta

SOUTH ATLANTA, GA – An Atlanta Police officer was transported to a hospital via an ambulance after a crash along Cleveland Avenue Elementary School Monday. 

Fox5Atlanta said this collision occurred around 12:30 a.m. at the Cleveland Avenue and Old Hapeville Road intersection. It appeared the impact of this wreck led the officer to sustain a neck injury as he was seen wearing a neck brace while on a stretcher prior to the transportation. 

No other injuries were reported.
