One Life Claimed in Fairburn Multi-Auto Wreck
FAIRBURN, GA – A person driving on Highway 92 North failed to maintain their line, causing them to enter the southbound lanes and hit two vehicles, ending in one death Friday.Â
The driver had first sideswiped one vehicle before colliding head-on with the other, according to 11 Alive. Police said this three-vehicle collision happened between Butner Road and Demooney Road. Due to the severity of this crash, Georgia Department of Transportation crews had to close the highway’s north and southbound lanes along Misty Dawn Drive.Â
Authorities did not announce any reopening of lines or have stated the victim’s gender, age, and place of residency.
New details will be added once officials release more information.
