1 Seriously Hurt in Wreck on GA-400 near Alpharetta
FULTON COUNTY, GA – Authorities were dispatched to a major injury collision Friday evening on Georgia Highway 400 near Alpharetta, reports FOX 5 Atlanta.
The incident took place on the southbound lanes of GA-400 near the exits to Mansell Road and Haynes Bridge Road. Multiple area agencies, including EMS crews, responded to the scene just before 3:00 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates only one vehicle was involved, and one person, deemed the sole occupant of the vehicle, was rushed to a nearby hospital for serious injuries.
It’s unclear at this time what led up to the accident, but an investigation by the Alpharetta Traffic Enforcement Unit was underway.
