Medical Episode Leads to Collision With Power Outages in Decatur
DECATUR, GA – A driver was said to have suffered a medical emergency which led them to crash into a utility pole on McLendon Drive, resulting in power outages Tuesday.
This solo collision took place before 8 a.m. along Lawrenceville Highway, according to Decaturish. After arriving, EMS crews transported the motorist to a hospital, and at least 250 households were left without power temporarily.Â
Medical personnel did not disclose the motorist’s current physical condition, and electric company employees did not state how long it took to restore the power.
No one aside from the driver sustained injuries in this crash.
