Driver Arrested After Causing Wreck That Killed Biker in Calhoun
CALHOUN, GA – A driver was arrested after causing a crash on Highway 53 near a Chick-fil-A that claimed a motorcyclist’s life Friday, The Georgia Sun reports.
The motorist had attempted to pursue an unspecified turn when they collided with the biker. Calhoun police declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene and apprehended the driver.
The motorist has since been charged with “vehicular homicide in the second degree.” Law enforcement has not specified the events that led to the fatal wreck nor provided additional commentary on the charges.
