Fire Crews Called to I-75 South Truck Fire in Kennesaw
KENNESAW, GA – Firefighters and Cobb County DOT crews were dispatched to a truck fire on I-75 South along Barnett Parkway before 9:45 a.m. Friday.
The collision took place in the right lane, according to Triple Team Traffic. Upon arrival, fire crews and law enforcement shut down the area. During those closures, drivers were asked to use Highway 41 or I-575 as alternative routes.

Cobb County DOT personnel confirmed they reopened all lanes before 2:30 p.m.
Authorities have not said whether the fire was caused by mechanical issues or a crash.
