Driver Cited After Crashing Into Atlanta U.S. Post Office
ATLANTA, GA – A female SUV driver was cited after she plowed through a U.S. Post Office on Pharr Road reported before 3:30 p.m. Monday.
A Fox 5 Atlanta photo shows that some of the windows were damaged. The impact of the wreck led the driver and one woman inside the building to sustain minor injuries. One person was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Employees at this specific post office have not announced when they’ll reopen their doors to the public.
Atlanta police are continuing to investigate the details that led to the crash.
