Car Strikes Pole in Macon, Claiming Teen’s Life
MACON, GA – A 19-year-old teenager lost her life, and a 20-year-old woman was seriously hurt after their Kia Soul crashed into a pole Sunday.
The Telegraph said the crash took place before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Bloomfield Road and Rocky Creek Road. The impact had ejected the teenager, a passenger, from the vehicle. Moments later, she suffered fatal injuries. EMS crews rushed the 20-year-old woman, the driver, to Atrium Health Navicent. She is recovering and is said to be in stable condition.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation and advised the public to contact them immediately if they have more information on Sunday’s wreck.
