Crash in Lula Claims One Life, Sends Another to Hospital
LULA, GA – One driver lost his life, and another was injured after a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Cornelia Highway and Lula Road Wednesday night.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office told Now Haabersham that a 63-year-old male driver tried to turn left when he crashed into another vehicle.
EMS crews rushed the 63-year-old man from Homer and the other driver to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. There, the 63-year-old man died, and the surviving motorist was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies started an investigation and have not released other details.
