Woman Killed in Four-Vehicle Collision in Decatur
DECATUR, GA โ A woman suffered fatal injuries after a four-vehicle collision on I-285 North, south of Glenwood Road Sunday, WSBTV said.
The events unfolded before 3 a.m. The woman, who later died, had pulled over on the shoulder due to mechanical issues. A short time later, one driver struck her, which then led to a crash with two other vehicles.
First responders did not disclose the specifics of how the other two vehicles were involved or what caused the initial driver, who crashed into the woman, to lose control of their car.
The DeKalb County Police Department started an investigation and has not released other details, including the womanโs identity.
