Officials Shut Down Cornelia’s GA 365 Due To Box Truck Rollover Crash
CORNELIA, GA – First responders and transportation crews had to shut down GA South 365 on May 26, on Memorial Day, for over two hours due to a box truck rollover accident.
Now Habersham said the Memorial Day crash happened before 5 p.m. and warranted a response from the Cornelia Fire Department, Habersham County deputies, and Georgia State Patrol. After arriving, officials initiated the lane closures.
During the closures, traffic delays could be seen toward Demorest and Tallulah Falls.
GSP said no one sustained serious injuries and is working to determine the exact cause of the Memorial Day crash.
