1 Killed After Multi-Truck Crash Near Excelsior
NEAR EXCELSIOR, GA – One person lost their life after a multi-truck crash on I-16 West Friday, according to WJCL.
The collision occurred between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and involved two tractor-trailers with products. After arriving, the Candler County Sheriff’s Office shut down the westbound directions. During the closures, drivers were asked to take the exit leading to Excelsior Church Road, then take Highway 46 and Highway 57.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the exact cause of the crash and has not released additional information, including reports of citations or charges.
