Accident Blocks Part of Southbound I-285 in NW Atlanta

FULTON COUNTY, GA – Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a wreck Friday morning on Interstate 285 in northwest Atlanta, according to Triple Team Traffic.

The incident took place on the southbound lanes of the interstate’s Outer Loop, at Exit 10 to I-20. It was first reported at around 10:14 a.m.

While the cause of the crash has not been specified, the right lane was closed in the immediate aftermath. Motorists were advised of delays going back to Hollowell Parkway at Exit 12.

At this time, no information about the involved parties or their conditions has been released.
