Accident Closes Multiple Lanes on Northbound I-285 in West Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA – Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash during Friday morning rush hour on Interstate 285 in west Atlanta, according to Triple Team Traffic.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes of I-285’s inner loop near Exit 10 to I-20. It was first reported at about 9:36 a.m.
Details remain limited, but at the time of the initial report, only a single travel lane was blocked. Just before 10:00 a.m., multiple left lanes were shut down. Commuters were advised to take I-75/85 as an alternate route.
