Accident Closes Section of I-285 North Near East Point
FULTON COUNTY, GA – Authorities were dispatched to the scene of a crash Sunday evening, May 18, on Interstate 285 North near East Point, reports Atlanta News First.
The collision took place north of the ramp to State Route 6/Camp Creek Parkway and was first reported at about 6:30 p.m.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), the incident had all travel lanes in the area shut down. By 7:30 p.m., about an hour later, the highway had reopened to motorists.
No information indicating the cause of the wreck or any serious injuries has been reported.
