Accident Closes Two Lanes on Westbound I-20 in West Lithonia
DEKALB COUNTY, GA – Emergency personnel were called to a crash early Friday afternoon on Interstate 20 in west Lithonia, according to Triple Team Traffic.
The scene was reported shortly before 1:30 p.m., on the westbound lanes at Exit 71 to Panola Road.
Local officials have not released any information indicating the cause or nature of the collision, but the two left lanes were blocked in the immediate aftermath.
Footage captured at the site shows traffic on both sides moving slowly through what appears to be a construction zone.
Motorists were advised to take Covington Highway to avoid delays while traveling through Lithonia.
