At Least 1 Injured in Scooter vs. Car Wreck in Gainesville
GAINESVILLE, GA – At least one person suffered injuries in a car versus motorized scooter crash that took place Wednesday.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office announced this collision at 5:01 p.m., and said it took place at the intersection of Mustang Drive and Georgia 323. Deputies are currently at the scene and confirmed Mustang Drive is currently closed to accommodate the scene clearance process.
HCSO investigators are on the scene of an accident with injuries involving a vehicle and a scooter on Mustang Drive at Gillsville Highway. Mustang Drive is closed to traffic at this time. Commuters can still pass the scene of the crash by taking Gillsville Highway.
Deputies launched an investigation and have not been able to confirm the events that led to this collision, including whether anyone was cited or charged for their involvement.
