Authorities Called to Collision on Eastbound I-20 Near Stonecrest
DEKALB COUNTY, GA – A vehicle crash was reported Friday afternoon on Interstate 20 near Stonecrest, according to Triple Team Traffic.
The accident happened on the eastbound side of I-20 at Exit 71 to Panola Road. It was first recorded shortly after 2:00 p.m.
The circumstances of the incident and the involved parties remain unknown to the public, but as many as two left lanes were blocked by the scene, causing a traffic backup in the area.
Motorists were advised to take Covington Highway as an alternate route.

By 2:27 p.m., the scene had been moved to the shoulder and all travel lanes had been reopened to traffic.
No injuries have been reported as of this writing.
