Authorities Dispatched to Wreck on Southbound I-85 Near Norcross
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – Motorists were warned of delays early Friday afternoon on Interstate 85 near Norcross, according to Triple Team Traffic.
The incident occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 85 and Georgia 403 at Exit 101 to Indian Trail Lilburn Road Northwest. It was first reported at about 1:24 p.m.
It remains to be seen how the crash happened or whether anyone was seriously hurt, but the second left lane was blocked by the scene. At the time of the initial report, a traffic backup had formed in the area.
Footage captured by a nearby traffic camera indicates at least two vehicles were involved.
Just after 1:30 p.m., the scene had been moved to the right, leaving all travel lanes open to traffic.
