Auto-Motorcycle Crash in Springfield Sends 2 to Hospital
SPRINGFIELD, GA – Two people were hospitalized for unspecified wounds following a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Highway 21 Tuesday.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office said one person was transported via medical helicopter and the other by ground to area hospitals, WCJL revealed.Â
A photo showed that at least five police/deputy vehicles and one fire truck pulled up to the scene. After officials arrived, they closed the area and redirected motorists toward South Laura Street for the standard scene clearance and investigation process.
Deputies have not provided an update on the victims’ conditions nor described the circumstances behind this two-vehicle collision.Â
