Car Overturns in Augusta, Killing 1, Sending 4 to Hospital 

AUGUSTA, GA – A 46-year-old man passed away, and his four passengers were hospitalized after their car overturned on Deans Bridge Road South Saturday. 

Prior to the rollover collision (announced before 9 p.m.), the driver, for reasons unclear, lost control of the car, thus initiating the crash, WRDW indicated in a report. 

The impact caused the driver to be thrown from his car and perish at the collision site. 

Upon arrival, an ambulance took the four occupants to Wellstar MCG Hospital for treatment. 

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has not released other details aside from the victim’s name.
