Car Overturns in Grantville, Claiming Woman’s Life
GRANTVILLE, GA – A 24-year-old woman passed away after her Honda CR-V had crashed and overturned along the 1677th block of West Grantville Road Tuesday.
The woman had hit a culvert and a tree prior to the car rolling over and landing on its roof, according to the Times-Herald. The impact had caused the woman, a Grantville local, to be thrown from the car, and she died on impact. She was the sole occupant of her vehicle.
The Georgia State Patrol started an investigation. They confirmed the victim was driving south before drifting off the road, crossing the median, and then striking those aforementioned objects.
