Child Dead, 2 Adults Hurt Following 2-Vehicle Crash in Augusta
AUGUSTA, GA – One child lost their life, and two adults were left with unspecified injuries after a two-vehicle crash west of Augusta Regional Airport Monday.
One motorist was driving north on Peach Orchard Road, and another driver was going south on Peach when they collided with each other after 1 p.m., according to WRDW.
The two adults and child from the southbound vehicle were rushed to a hospital by EMS crews. There, the child died from their injuries.
The driver of the northbound automobile appeared to have been uninjured.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the details behind Monday’s collision and has not shared additional details at this time.
