Collision Blocks HOV Lane on Southbound I-85 in NE Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA – Emergency crews were called to a collision Friday morning on Interstate 85 in northeast Atlanta, according to Triple Team Traffic.
The incident occurred on the southbound lanes of I-85 just south of Shallowford Road (Exit 93). It was first reported at about 10:06 a.m.
Little information has been made available at this time, but motorists were asked to proceed with caution, as the scene had the HOV lane closed off.
While the number of vehicles involved have not been confirmed, a photo captured by a traffic camera indicates two dark-colored vehicles, including a pickup truck, were involved.
