Collision closes section of northbound I-85 near Lawrenceville
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – Authorities were dispatched to a vehicle wreck Monday morning that blocked part of Interstate 85 in northwest Lawrenceville, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The accident took place on the northbound lanes at Exit 108 to Sugarloaf Parkway and was first reported by GDOT at 7:02 a.m.
At this time, no information regarding the cause or nature of the wreck has been made available, but crews were able to clear the scene by 7:19 a.m., more than 15 minutes later.
