Crews clear scene of box truck, big rig crash in Sandy Springs
SANDY SPRINGS, GA – More than two hours following a crash between a box truck and a tractor-trailer on I-285 West, crews were able to reopen the area Wednesday.
Details from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution showed that this collision happened around 9:30 a.m. in the area of Peachtree Dunwoody Road, and crews were able to clear the scene at 12 p.m.
Sandy Springs Police, which responded to the scene and started an investigation, have not specified the exact cause of the collision or indicated whether anyone would be cited or charged for their involvement.
