Crews Respond to Rollover Semi Crash Near I-75 in Bartow County
BARTOW COUNTY, GA – Delays were reported after a tractor trailer overturned late Monday morning near Interstate 73 in southeast Cartersville, according to 11Alive.
Officials with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) warned motorists that both eastbound and westbound lanes of Old Allatoona Road, near the I-75 intersection, were impacted. While the incident was first reported at about 7:30 a.m., exit and entrance ramps remained shut down at about 11:30 a.m.
While it was not immediately apparent whether anyone was seriously hurt, travel lanes were not expected to re-open until at least 1:00 p.m.
