Deputies Investigate 12-Auto Wreck Near Georgia, Tennessee State Line
DADE COUNTY, GA โ The Dade County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a multi-automobile crash on I-24 East near the Georgia and Tennessee state line that happened Tuesday.
This collision, which involved six commercial vehicles and six-passenger vehicles, happened before midnight going into Wednesday near I-59, reports Local3News.
Georgia Department of Transportation crews had to shut down the intersection for nine hours to clear debris from the wreckage and make road conditions safe again.
Deputies who responded to the scene have not confirmed how this serious collision was brought about, indicated if anyone was injured or hospitalized, or listed any pending citations or charges.
