Driver Ejected in Fatal Solo Crash in Austell
AUSTELL, GA – A driver was fatally ejected from his white 2015 Maserati M157 after crashing into a traffic light pole and signal control box Tuesday.
WSBTV said this solo collision occurred before 6:30 a.m. at East-West Connector and Felton Hill Road. Cobb County Sheriff’s Office’s preliminary details reveal that the driver drifted out of his lane, went into a right-turn-lane-only section, and continued driving until he struck the aforementioned objects. He gave in to his injuries immediately at the crash site. Â
Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office and Cobb County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. Authorities informed the victim’s family of his passing. At this time, officials have not disclosed his age or place of residence.
