Driver Fatally Hits Pedestrian Near Six Flags in Austell
AUSTELL, GA โ A pedestrian lost their life after getting hit by a vehicle at the I-20 and Riverside Parkway connector near Six Flags Friday.
The collision happened before 5:30 a.m., Fox 5 Atlanta said. Cobb County Police Department responded to the scene and shut down the area for scene clearance and investigation.
No lane closures have been announced at this time. Drivers should consider taking Highway 78, Veterans Memorial Highway, and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Officers are investigating the details behind the wreck.
