Driver Killed, Kids Hospitalized After Jeep Overturns in Union City
UNION CITY, GA – A Jeep driver lost their life, and two passengers were sent to Arthur Blank’s Children’s Hospital following a rollover crash near Dixie Lakes Monday.
Georgia State Patrol told Atlanta News First that the Jeep swerved in and out of one lane on Highpoint Road, struck a curb, hit a utility pole, and crashed into an embankment prior to the vehicle overturning. The driver and their passengers were thrown from the Jeep.
The motorist succumbed to their injuries at the scene. First responders did not disclose the children’s physical conditions.
